N/4 - timing, where N is the number of beats per measure
xN - repeat N times (repeated parts are marked by a double vertical line
at start and finish)
x - duration of note where x equals: w (whole note), h (half
note), q (quarter note), e (eighth note), or s (sixteenth
note); note that x. represents 1.5x
+x - used when note is tied to previous one; x indicates duration
(see above)
- - allow note to ring out for an unspecified amount of time - found at
the end of some songs
NOTE: This song has quite unusual timing during the intro and chorus,
following a 3, 3, 3, 3, 4 pattern. Although it could easily be written as
4/4 timing, I prefer to look at it as alternating between 3/4 and 2/4
timing. Also, according to some people, the -3-2-0- etc part of the intro
and chorus is played only by the bass, while Daron only plays open strings.
Either way I have included it in this tab.
